Born and raised in Oslo, Petter Bakken derives his artistic vision through surrounding impressions of the world. Petters style has been influenced by the eclectic culture of street art and the emergence of graffiti in public spaces. Reflected in his use of collected raw materials, his style is defined by the convergence of popular urban culture, nature, and a flare of social commentary. As a professional snowboarder, illustor, and wood-worker his creativity is crafted throughout the diversity of his experiences and love for the outdoors. Petters work can be found in pop-up exhibitions around the world as well as strategcially hidden on city streets.
